Role. I hereby certify that I am volunteering at various events and activities hosted and conducted by 1018 Strategy, Inc ("1018 Strategy"), and am not an employee, agent or representative of 1018 Strategy. I have no entitlement or right to compensation or benefits from 1018 Strategy or otherwise for my activities with 1018 Strategy.
Assumption of Risk: I understand and assume any risks relating to my work as a volunteer for 1018 Strategy, including, but not limited to, loading and unloading boxes and materials and interacting with or servicing children, parents and other people at the events/gathering, marketing, networking, research, fundraising, curriculum development, programs and services development, marketing, and general administration.
Waiver of Liability: I hereby release and forever discharge and hold harmless 1018 Strategy and their officers, directors, employees, agents, other volunteers, clients, guests, vendors and successors and assigns (collectively "1018 Parties") from any and all claims, liability and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter arise from my activities with 1018 Parties. I understand that this release includes any liability or claim that I may have against 1018 Parties with respect to any bodily injury, personal injury, illness, or property damage that may result from my activities, whether caused by the negligence of 1018 Parties or otherwise.
Insurance: I understand that 1018 Parties does not assume any responsibility to provide me with compensation, financial or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health, or disability benefits or insurance. I also expressly waive any claim for compensation or reimbursement from any and all 1018 Parties for any loss, liability, cost or expense I incur in the event of injury or medical expenses, property damage, death or other claim which may arise.
Photo Release: I understand that the 1018 Parties, guests and others may take photographs and video and audio recordings of me during my period of volunteering. I grant and convey to 1018 Parties and their affiliates any and all rights, title and interest in any and all photographic images and video or audio recordings of me for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, without compensation to me.
Confidentiality: I understand that 1018 Strategy is engaged in the business of (a) developing plans and models to education, equip and empower adults, (b) implementing such plans, (c) educating, equipping, and empowering new and existing adults, and (d) developing and implementing additional targeted programs for awareness, advocacy, and action, and community partnerships. In connection with such business 1018 Strategy from time to time (i) provides to its Volunteers certain Confidential Information (as defined in link below), and (ii) promotes, and assists its Volunteers in the establishment and development of relationships with 1018 Contacts (as defined below) in order to establish, maintain and enhance 1018 Strategy's business and the success of its programs.
