Empower The Fight’s Response to the Award
We are honored to receive this award and hope that it generates increased awareness of our mission to prevent and respond to child exploitation. Child exploitation is an epidemic that ravages the lives of 15 million children in the United States each year. That is 1-in-5 households in the United States have an exploited child. Empower The Fight is a grassroots movement started by local Kansas City moms with a passion to protect children. We are just getting started and know that this is the beginning of making a big and lasting impact in the lives of children! “We the people protect kids” is not just our tagline, it is a battle cry for action!
What is the Lee’s Summit Award Program?
Each year, we identify companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2022 Lee’s Summit Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally and data provided by third parties.
The Lee’s Summit Award Program is an annual awards program honoring the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses throughout the area. Recognition is given to those companies that have shown the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value.
The Lee’s Summit Award Program was established to recognize the best of local businesses in our community. Our organization works exclusively with local business owners, trade groups, professional associations and other business advertising and marketing groups.
